An Exhibition of Vintage Items......

Hello from the Attic.....brrrrrrrrrrr it's cold, wet and very windy here in Cornwall. Snow will certainly not be happening here, if it does I will let you know....But to forget about the cold for a while I will show you some sunshine that we had in September 2012 and show you some of the items we saw at an exhibition in the church at Zennor, a village here in Cornwall....

St. Senara Parish Church, Zennor...(photo curtsy of wikipedia)

Making our way to the exhibition....

The exhibition was of vintage items on loan from local people....

Attire of times past...

A wedding dress & Veil, the wedding album seen in the corner belongs with this dress...

Some Vintage Dresses...I have an original 40's dress, used to love wearing it..

I have a sleeveless black 50's dress...would not be able to fit in it now...

The Mermaid Chair inside the church (more about this will be posted on my blog Away with the Faerys)

More Vintage Dresses...

Childhood Mementoes....

I've always loved doll houses. I have an old one I hope to get ready for my granddaughter for when she s a little older....

Some things never change...

Anyone for a brew...

I am lucky to have many embroidery pieces that were worked by my late mother-in-law....

The Traditional Shopping Basket....can't beat it, better than plastic bags any day...

Seen on the wall of The Tavern Arms in Zennor...

A touch of colour to remind us that spring will soon be here again ....

I hope you enjoyed your visit back to 2012, it certainly is a contrast to the sounds outside my house....wind blowing and rain lashing against the window panes....

Until next time, take care...Hugs Chrissy xx
