My name is Chrissy and I live in Cornwall with hubby Andy, a furry family of 4 cats & 2 neurotic Border collie dogs. Together we all share a pre-1830 house in constant need of renovation, affectionately called ‘The Hovel’. Some unseen residents also share our home and for the most part are well behaved!!! Our home is filled to the brim with an assortment of interesting finds, hubby has another word for it but I think secretly he likes them! I am a self-confessed hoarder & clutter bug with a ‘designer’ home, I created it & there isn’t another one like it... Originally from Nottingham we decided to move to Cornwall some years ago & never regretted it. With its beaches, Holy Wells, standing stones, fishing harbours & quaint villages living in Cornwall feels like being on permanent holiday. I have one son and am a nana to three gorgeous little children. I have many interests such as crafts, history, myths & legends, etc, & love anything vintage, the older the better. I am also a passionate family historian & so decided to combine my interests to see where it takes me.
************************* Welcome to The Primitive Cornish Attic, a blog that began for a different reason than seen here today and remained unused for some time. I hope now to use it as a place to show various crafts, interests and glimpses of a bygone age through my collections, memorabilia and suchlike. Thanks for dropping by and please do visit again. *************************

'Days fly by quickly and children move on. Before we know it the 'Old Times' are gone. But as we look back at generations gone by, we reflect on the memories that serve as a tie. Binding us together with future and past, and building a story that forever will last.' ~ Shannon Fahine ~
Where possible I like to use photographs and postcards from my own collections. However at times I use graphics, photos and information from the internet and would like to say thank you to the following.
Thank you for stopping by. Where possible I like to use my own postcards, photographs, etc. You are welcome to use these for personal use on your blogs, websites and crafts. However, please do not use them in any items for sale either as individual items, as a collection or in any crafts, thanks. Other images used in my blog that do not belong to me are available at the websites above, which have their own usage guidelines. I hope you enjoy your visit here and take care.
